As we build the new car with the new shell, we have found quite a few flaws in this car that you see here. In partticular, the steerig conversion was done very strong, but ~30mm out in alignment across the car. We already knew there was a 10mm discrepency in rail heights at the front as well. We took is up with suspension, but it's never as good. And the chassis had never straightened properly, and ... we knew we had problems with the old shell.
This new shell is straight! And the conversion will be just about perfect. It is still a Mustang, but it will steer as well as a Mustang possibly can. The roll cage is a bolt-in and will support the chassis from the front to the back. The fuel tank will be inboard, inside the wheel base. And we will be transplanting this sweet motor by Gorringes in North Hobart, and all the running gear as well.
Junior is dead, long live Junior.
